Zinedine Zidane

APRIL 8, 2021

Zinedine Zidane was an electric midfielder who played for various teams in France, Italy, and Spain. He didn't score many goals, but when he did they were some mesmerizing ones. He ended his career with a bang by getting a red for headbutting Marco Materazzi in the 2006 World Cup. Probably the best way to go out for a player 😂. He won a houseful of trophies throughout his career a World Cup, a Euro, multiple Serie A titles, La Liga title, Ballon d'Or, and multiple Champions Leagues. Zidane is also the only manager to win the Champions League trophy in three consecutive seasons. He has a chance to add another Champions League trophy this year since Real is avoiding PSG/Bayern/Dortmund/Man City in the semi-finals. So Real has a nice path to the finals if they can get past Liverpool and through the semi-finals.

His 1991-1992 Panini FOOT is his iconic rookie sticker. His first senior international tournament sticker came from the 1996 Euro's, his first World Cup sticker and card came from the 1998 World Cup. Zidane doesn't have any autograph cards or high end ones we are used to seeing from retired players.
