Paul Gascoigne
June 10, 2021
Paul Gascoigne or Gazza has been in the news recently for something you less excepted. Phil Foden's lastest haircut has caught the attention of people and the media, they are comparing it to Gascoigne's 96 Euro haircut.
Gascoigne started his career at Newcastle in 1985, before transferring to Tottenham for a record breaking £2.2 million. Seems relatively cheap compared to today's market. He would bounce around to several clubs throughout his years. Playing in Italy for Lazio, Scotland for Rangers, even had a spell in China for a brief time and eventually retiring in England with Boston United. He wasn't a part of many clubs that won trophies most of the silverware comes from his playing days at Rangers.
His first year is his 1986-87 Panini UK Football and his Daily Mirror. 1990 his first World Cup appearance and not listed his you can find his 1992 Panini Euro sticker. One of his first cards is the 1990-91 Pro Set, then 1992 is his first Topps card, 1994 one of his first and many World Cup cards in the Upper Deck set. Then we’ll round it off with his lost rookie sticker auto card. *His first auto comes from the 2005 Topps England set.*
